Hand painted wood and Sterling silver Christmas Decoration featuring the Australian Blue Faced Honey Eater.

Calling all bird nerd Christmas lovers - you know who you are - these are for you !

These guys are all kinds of gorgeous - look at those colours. Some of my favs !

I've met a bunch of them since our move to the Hunter Valley and they really are an incredible looking bird but like a lot of our Aussie feathered friends they don't have the most melodic of voices.

These beauties are designed, made and hand painted in our Hunter Valley Workshop.

Inspired by our own Australiana Collection designs, our love of nature, and being mad keen on all things Aussie Christmas (yep - including music - well me more than Mike !), we wanted to create decorations that were a little bit quirky, with a touch of the traditional and a wee dash of sparkly goodness.

They are painted on 1 side and left unpainted on the back with our logo so you can write a little tome on your keepsake.

When you bring them out each year - you'll have a little written message to read - that's yay isn't it !
