Meet our other Makers
Being lucky enough to have created our dream little local shop to fill with all of our handcrafted pieces, we had the opportunity to put some other beautiful products into the shop and having spent many years in the company of other like minded souls we were able to include a few special artists and makers in our boutique family.
Meet the wonderful people whose lovely things are part of the Wally and Eva shop experience !
Charlotte - Love From
A friend, an inspiration, and a kindred spirit. What DON'T we love about Charlotte of Love From. She is an incredible artist and photographer who has helped us with our own branding and projects over the years but who's Australian Native designs are a thing of timeless beauty. With just a hint of whimsy she captures the essence of Australian birds and flowers in her stunning T-shirts and Tote bags produced in Australia and available in the shop.
When she's not busy being a wife and Mum of 2 beautiful girls, freelance designer and photographer, she's volunteering with several organisations helping people and advocating to protect and support our unique native wildlife.
Amber - Daisy May Bouquet
Amber and I met at Tree of Life and immediately formed a connection in our shared love of all things nature and handmade. Finding out that she was a fellow marketeer creating stunning dried flower arrangements set a seed which grew as we met up at various markets. A qualified Florist, Amber found her passion lay in creating unique colourful dried flower bouquets that last.
Amber also LOVES a good op shop and has an eye for finding charming vintage ceramic vases which form the basis of beautiful vintage style arrangements in neutrals and bright tones that work in any space.
We love being able to offer a range of Amber's vase and bouquet arrangements in the shop and that her products are natural, sustainable and long lasting.
We will also be carrying her stunning floral wreaths later in the year.
Marianne - Hunter Lavender Farm
Marianne and her husband have created the most extraordinary paradise at their organic Lavender farm in the Idyllic town of Broke in the Hunter Valley. They offer the chance to walk through their lavender fields each Summer and what they don't know about growing lavender isn't worth knowing. They grow several different varieties of Lavender in order to create culinary, dried and essential oil based products and it's all done sustainably - winning !
Marianne and I have bonded over a shared love of Quality Systems and organisation that forms part our 'day jobs' (yes I know - we're weird like that) and after meeting several times at different markets and visiting their farm we were excited to be able to stock a range of these lovely products in our shop...with a nice side effect being that the shop always smells divine !
