These Australian Pink Robin hand painted wood and sterling silver earrings form part of our collection of iconic Australian flora and fauna.
 
About the Pink Robin:
Well apart from the obvious fact that they are A-DORABLE, they are also very tiny.  
They love a good rainforest and cool climate (which is why they are particularly fond of Tassie).
Their cup-shaped nests are build with moss, lichen and spider webs.  So clearly not arachnophobes then.  
They're pretty shy and quiet little things with incredible hearing - they can hear worms in the soil ! 
Being all about the bright colours, they lay bright sky-blue eggs - good one (no craft Sundays at their place then).

You can NEVER have TOO many earrings !
Even better when they are Australian made. These earrings are a seriously good accessory go-to.  Jeans and a T (or jumper - depending on the time of year when you read this) or some fancy night duds - it all works with the deep pink, charcoal, grey and chocolate colouring on these lovely super lightweight earrings.  
 
These earrings are designed, laser cut, hand painted and assembled personally by me in our little studio and workshop (aka converted front bedroom and lovely workshoppy space at the end of our garage) using Australian made blackwood ply, Australian made Sterling silver and non-toxic water-based acrylic paints.
