About the Quokka:
These characters of the native Australian animal landscape are known for their happy expressions and let's face it, it's pretty hard to be grumpy when looking at a smiling Quokka.
These fascinating little creatures (they look like a very oversized rodent but much cuddlier) climb for leaves like Koalas, hop like kangaroos, sleep like bats and eat like giraffes...I know right !
They’re very trendy being macropods who like the vegan lifestyle and prefer to spend their days hanging out on Rottnest Island.

These earrings are designed, laser cut, hand painted and assembled personally by me in our little studio and workshop (aka converted front bedroom and lovely workshoppy space at the end of our garage) using Australian made blackwood ply, Australian made Sterling silver and non-toxic water-based acrylic paints.
