About the Wombat:
Did you know our adorable native marsupials are one of the largest burrowing mammals in the world ? They hang out in some spectacular scenery preferring forests, mountains and coastal shrubland. 
They love a nap (who doesn't !) sleeping like their Koala relatives for up to 16 hours per day. 
They are herbivores and use smell to find their next repast.
One of the biggest threats to their wellbeing is habitat loss due to development land clearing and done at the wrong time can bury these poor little fellows while hibernating.  
Here's my favourite fact - the collective noun for a gathering of furry wombats is a.....drum roll please...WISDOM !
Ok so they do get a bit antsy with some people who venture too near their babies, but on the whole

They are designed, laser cut, hand painted and assembled personally by me in our little studio and workshop (aka converted front bedroom and lovely workshoppy space at the end of our garage) using Australian made blackwood ply, Australian made Sterling silver and non-toxic water-based acrylic paints.

Shipping: We aim to ship stocked items within 24-48 hours with Australia Post. Shipping is generally 4-7 business days for local Metro Australian Delivery. If we have to make your item we will let you know straight away.
