These beautiful hand painted blackwood ply earrings are part of our Australiana collection celebrating iconic animals and plants that make this country special.
 
These earrings are designed and made by us in our studio and workshop from Blackwood Ply and Sterling Silver and hand painted using non-toxic water based acrylic paints.
 
Not to be confused with the 15 angry men in pale blue shirts that run around with a rugby ball at the weekend, this NSW native prefers that great Aussie pastime - digging its toes in the sand.  You'll find them in sandy spots on ridges and plateaus.  They are a member of the Telopea family.  The word Waratah is an Eora Aboriginal word meaning "red-flowering tree".   and
