These swooping, gliding, fluttering wee birds can be found throughout Australia. They are named the 'welcome' swallow as sailors took the sight of them as a sign of the approaching mainland. They live on flying insects. Both Mum and Dad construct their little mud houses on building walls and under bridges and are distinguished by their forked tail and impressive aerial manoeuvres.
These beautiful hand painted blackwood ply earrings are part of our Australiana collection celebrating some iconic animals and plants that make this country special.
These earrings are designed and made by us in our studio and workshop from Blackwood Ply and Sterling Silver and hand painted using non-toxic water-based acrylic paints then they are matte sealed using an Australian made art sealer to make sure they stay this adorable.

- Size: 50mm (65mm to top of hook) x 40mm wide
- Packaging: 100% organic cotton gift bag and a little card about how they are made (in case you need a little reading fix after you've recovered from opening your lovely parcel)
- Shipping: We aim to ship stocked items within 24-48 hours with Australia Post. Shipping is generally 4-7 business days for local Metro Australian Delivery. If we have to make your item we will let you know straight away.
