These beautiful handpainted blackwood ply earrings are part of our Australiana collection celebrating some iconic animals and plants that make this country special.
These earrings are designed and made by us in our studio and workshop from Blackwood Ply and Sterling Silver and handpainted using non-toxic waterbased acrylic paints then they are matte sealed using an Australian made art sealer to make sure they stay this adorable.
This little fellow came about because several of our wonderful market visitors asked us if we had Kookaburras in our collection. After enough requests I came home and set to getting the design right. Man there are a lot of colours required in hand painting Kookaburras !
