Australian Superb Fairy Wren Cotton Tote Bag
 
About the Superb Fairy Wren:
The superb fairy-wren is a tiny little Aussie native bird. The male is known for his distinctive bright blue patches and for being a bit of a lad. They girls are a very on-trend soft brown for camouflaging in the scrub. They hang out in shrubs, bushes and grasses and travel in tight-knit family groups – awwww !
They are found along the South and East Coasts of Australia and feast mainly on insects.  They won "Australian Bird of the Year" in 2021 and they are VERY cute !

After quite a few enquiries in the shop as to whether we carry brooches, well let's just say "challenge accepted !"
I put on my design hat, and over the next few months created my own take on the once humble brooch, a range of beautiful, colourful and (if I don't say so myself) pretty stylish yet fun brooches featuring Australian Flora and Fauna (and a few other plants and animals that I couldn't resist).
And you know what...I have actually started wearing them myself and I must say I am starting to feel a bit naked without one.  
 
The Tote Bags are designed by me and printed in Melbourne on 320gsm 100% cotton.
